Hand To Hand Kettlebell Snatch exercise

Hand-to-hand kettlebell snatch is an advanced kettlebell training technique that can be a great way to challenge your body and improve your total body strength and conditioning.

The hand-to-hand kettlebell snatch is a compound exercise that utilizes kettlebells to develop the entire body. It combines the traditional snatch with a hand-to-hand press. To perform the exercise, you’ll need two kettlebells of equal weight and a strong grip.

Starting Position:

Set up for the hand-to-hand kettlebell snatch by standing with your feet about shoulder width apart and your toes pointed out. With a kettlebell in each hand, hold the kettlebells in front of your thighs with both palms facing each other.

Snatch:

To initiate the snatch, take a deep breath as you explosively drive your feet into the floor and pull the kettlebells up. As the kettlebells pass your knees, press them outward and up with your hands, until you lock out your arms with the kettlebells directly overhead. Make sure to keep your core tight and your back straight throughout the entire movement.

Press:

Once the kettlebells are locked out overhead, press the kettlebells up and out with both hands, until the kettlebells are parallel with the floor. Make sure to keep your core tight and your back straight throughout the entire movement.

Lower:

As you lower the kettlebells back down to the starting position, take a deep breath as you explosively drive your feet into the floor and pull the kettlebells down. As the kettlebells pass your knees, press them inward and down with your hands, until you’ve returned to the starting position.

This exercise is a great way to challenge your body and improve your total body strength and conditioning. It’s also a great way to build grip strength and improve your overall coordination and balance. Be sure to practice proper form and use a light weight first to ensure proper technique.
